
I think it is probably the latter, because Erik Mona's response to my own makes less sense if it was always going to be full color. Either I misunderstood something or they decided to change it somewhere along the line. I'm pretty sure the product description initially said it would be black and white. That means the ink usage is going to make this less desirable to print out and use often.Īre there plans to do a black and white printer friendly version, and if so can I obtain that without paying again? The Pathfinder 1e and Starfinder Folios were in color, was the Playtest Folio not? It seems they decided to switch to a full color version somewhere along the line. A single sheet of paper can be put in mostly okay, but once your printed sheets start stacking up, it gets really hard to put them in without stressing the "spine" of the folder. At least I'll have room for everything.Įdit 8 - Additionally, the folder is pretty much exactly 8 1/2" x 11", so it doesn't fit normal papers (like chronicle sheets) that well. Give me a first edition/Starfinder style character folio any day over this.

And since they changed the layout for the item/character details sheet, you either have to print the pages from the free downloadable sheets (which don't give you much room for items, or character details, and double up on things from the class sheet), photocopy extra copies of the ones provided, or buy the pdf to print out copies. The entire pack is only good for one character. You get the class specific sheets, which is cool, but the other three sheets - the item/character details sheet, the spell sheet, and the companion sheet - only have one copy each in this pack. For the physical product, this is largely a waste of money.
